Who We Are
|
Stanford Professional Women (SPW) of the San Francisco Bay
Area is a diverse group of professional women sharing a common
Stanford bond. We are Stanford alumnae, students, faculty,
staff, and mothers, daughters, and spouses of alumni and students.
|
|

|
Our members range in age from recent graduates
to senior alumnae. We represent a broad spectrum of professions
and are at varying points in our careers. Many of us work
for companies and non-profit organizations while some of us
are self-employed. Others are retired, taking a career break
to raise children, or are in job transition. We are an enthusiastic,
energetic, and interesting group.

Conversation is never dull at an SPW event! Take some time
to review the President's Letter,
SPW Board and Member
Profile sections of this web site to see a sampling of
who we are.

Our Mission
SPW is dedicated to bringing San Francisco Bay Area
Stanford-affiliated women together to reconnect with
Stanford for both professional and personal development:
to gain knowledge, to broaden horizons, and to network.
Our events include: an Executive Speaker Series, Professional
Development Workshops, Regional Potluck Dinners at members'
homes, Networking Mixers, and Cultural activities.
|

|
Many of our events are held at our home on the Stanford
campus, the Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center. On this
web site you can review our events calendar to learn about
upcoming events and past
events to discover more about what we have to offer
to our members and prospective members. |
